The city of Tustin will spend $300,000 to design, make and install temporary signs promoting new homes and upcoming construction at the Tustin Legacy.
The area is composed of multiple construction projects at the site of the former Marine Corps Air Station, and already includes more than 1,600 new homes, a regional shopping center known as The District, neighborhood parks and roadways.
Hundreds of more homes and commercial space are expected to be built in the area in the next 20 years, and the sign program approved by the City Council Jan. 6 would “promote the Tustin Legacy brand and identify current and future city developments,” according to a city staff report.
